New for LTI Users!
If you use Canvas or Schoology, administrators can now obtain the Key, Secret, and XML snippet directly from Admin Mode. Find it in your Account Menu > Settings > Integrations.
Updates to Clever and ClassLink Rostering
Previously, users rostered via Clever or ClassLink could not be reactivated unless brought in via the sync process. By request, we've made it possible to activate users who have become inactive via the sync.
This update's main purpose is to allow the activation of staff who are now administrators but are no longer rostered as teachers in Clever/ClassLink.
Once a user is activated, they will no longer be impacted by the sync process. However, to reconnect to the Clever/ClassLink sync, they must be manually deactivated. They will be "reconnected" during the following sync.
"Disconnected" users are noted with a slash through the Clever or ClassLink icon.
Updates to Assignment Sharing
We've removed the Add button from the Assignment Sharing window based on user feedback. Previously, users selected who they were sharing with, then the permissions, and then had to click an Add button. To share assignments, users will now simply select who they are sharing the assignment with and what permissions the user should have. Changes will be saved automatically!
Upgraded Standards Filtering Experience
Thanks to additional user feedback, we have upgraded the standards filtering during assignment creation.
To find standards, users will:
1. Select the Source
2. Select the Subject and Grade
3. Optional: Enter search terms
Great news! The standards filters are "sticky" now, so teachers can more easily navigate to their favorite standards sources and subjects when creating their assignments.
Full Page Open Response Question Types
Users can now create Open Response Questions with 1-10 rows of text, OR they can conveniently fill the rest of the current page or a full page with the capture area. This response type is teacher-scored and the addition of Full Page allows teachers to use this for essay responses.
