2. Copying Assignments to the Assessment User Account
Every Gradient for Schools and Districts subscription has a Staff account named Assessment User. Anyone with the Helpdesk permission enabled can access this account. The Assessment User account allows you to create a central hub for your organization’s common assessments, such as mock ACTs, mock SATs, state tests, and school-wide benchmarks, and ensures that school administrators will always have access to them!
Accessing the Assessment User Account
The Assessment User is accessible to users with permission to launch a Helpdesk Session. A Helpdesk Session allows users to remotely access another user's account without needing their login credentials. By default, this permission is given to anyone with membership to the System Admin, School Support, or Instructional Leader. To access the Assessment User and initiate a Helpdesk Session, follow these quick steps:
1. Navigate to Admin Mode and select the Staff tab.
2. Update the Role Filter on the left from Teachers to All Active Staff.
3. Search for the Assessment User in the search bar.
4. Click the checkbox to the left of the user to reveal the Start Helpdesk icon in the toolbar.
5. Click Start Helpdesk and you now have full access to the Assessment User.
Copying Assignments to the Assessment User Account
If assignments have been created in an individual user's account and need to be copied over to the Assessment User, follow these quick steps:

Note: You can only clone assignments one at a time.
- Recommended: Archive the originally shared assignments so that you don't have duplicates in the list.
Best Practices
We recommend building subject-specific, department-specific, or school-wide assignments within the Assessment User account and sharing them as needed. This will ensure that as staff come and go, the assignments remain accessible for ongoing management and distribution in one central place. If any assignments created by individual users need to be copied over to the Assessment User, take a look at the steps above for Copying Assignments to the Assessment User.
The feature(s) mentioned are only available to Gradient for Schools & Districts subscribers. Please contact sales@gradecam.com to upgrade your subscription.
