1. NEW Access Group Permission
3. Updates to Classes and Class Groups
4. Updates to the Students Page
We're highlighting some of our newer updates to Gradient for Schools from 2023 to make it even easier to manage your account. Check out some of the features below!
NEW Access Group Permission
We've added a new permission to the default System Administrator Access Group that allows members to view data, print forms, and administer assessments for all students at their associated school(s). For more information on managing Access Groups, click here.
NEW Teachers Tab
School Leaders with the new permission mentioned above will see a new icon in their lefthand navigation bar in Teacher Mode. Using the new Teachers icon, you can view all teachers in your school(s) without logging into Admin Mode! As a bonus, you can even click on a teacher's name and view their classes and data for assessments that have been shared with you. For full visibility of school-wide data, you can still switch over to School Reporting Mode.
Updates to Classes and Class Groups
As always, any classes you teach will show on the Classes page in Teacher Mode. However, thanks to the new data visibility permission, you can now use the filter to view all classes in the school -- without having to switch to Admin Mode! If you don't teach classes, the All classes filter is your default view.
We've also added Class Groups to this page so you can put departments or teams into the same group and easily add online access or print and scan forms for other teachers. To learn more about our updated Class Groups, click here.
Note: Class Groups are available to users with the new Student Visibility permission.
Updates to the Students Page
Similar to the changes we've made to the Classes page, your default Students page view will depend on if you teach classes. If you teach classes, you'll see those students listed here by default, and with the new data visibility permission, you can filter to All classes. If you don't teach classes, you will automatically see all students in the school listed and the filter will be set to All classes.
