Term Padding

Values set for term padding will determine how many days terms are considered part of the current term. The default is set to 7 days before and 7 days after the start and end dates of the term. Term padding may be edited at any time to allow staff additional access to class rosters, printing forms, scanning, online access setup, and grade transfer if the term dates are no longer current. Term padding cannot extend past the current Academic Year end date. 

 

 

Set Term Padding

To find Term Padding:

  1. Log in to Gradient. Select the Account Menu (top right corner).
  2. Choose Admin Mode.
  3. From Admin Mode, click on your initials (top right corner) and select the Account Menu.
  4. Choose Settings.
  5. Choose Term Padding and enter the number of days desired.

To save and exit the term padding edit window, click on the X in the upper right corner or choose another option in the Settings list.
