The feature(s) mentioned in this article are only available to Gradient for Individual Teachers - Teacher Premium or Teacher Limited (Free) accounts. If you are currently part of a Gradient for Schools/Districts subscription, rosters will be created and managed by the account's Gradient Leaders.
Clever synced classes will appear and automatically be managed in your Gradient for Individual Teachers subscription when the sync is connected. Once the sync has been disconnected, classes can be managed directly from Gradient again.
Connect to Your Clever Account
1. Navigate to the Gradient login screen.
2. Log into your account using Clever. This is necessary to have the option in the account settings to authenticate the account with Clever.
3. Click on your initials in the top right corner to access the Account Menu > Settings. Verify that the Clever section is shown. If it is not, log out and log back in using Clever SSO and you should be prompted to sync your rosters.
Sync Rosters with Clever
Select Gradient by GradeCam from the Clever library. Follow the sync instructions to connect the classes to your account. Classes and students will be synced from Clever every time you log in. Any changes to a synced class or student will need to be done in Clever.
Students can access only one subscription using a SSO login method (Clever, ClassLink, or Google). Access to additional subscriptions requires the use of access codes or a different SSO method.
Disable Clever Syncing
Disabling Clever roster syncing allows users to edit or remove previously rostered classes. No future updates to classes will be made.
- Click on your initials in the top right corner to access the Account Menu > Settings. Navigate to the Clever section.
- Click Disable Syncing.
If you wish to reconnect the sync in the future, simply click Sync Now.
