Gradient Leaders are members of Access Groups who have extended permissions to view data and/or help manage the subscription.

 

Getting Started

At the beginning of your Gradient Journey, or when you renew your account, the Gradient Lead completes the contacts survey to determine leader access. The following resources will provide guidance for your next steps: 

  • Navigating your Gradient Account: Learn about using Gradient's Teacher Mode to create and assign assessments, collect student responses, and analyze student response data. 
  • Administrator Training: We offer a brief, 30-minute course that is entirely self-paced and broken up into five lessons to teach you all about managing Gradient for your organization. Contact your Customer Success Manager at success@gradecam.com to request access to our System Admin Course.

 

 

Roles & Permissions 

All Gradient users are considered "teachers" by default and will be able to access their students, classes, assignments, and reports based on rosters & roles managed by the Gradient System Admin. Once you've been set up, you will receive a login invitation from hello@gradecam.com. As a Gradient Leader, learn about the different permissions and access you can request from your Gradient System Admin below:

 

 

Data Analysis

One of the most common requests for Gradient Leaders is related to how to see data. Gradient is set up to grant access to data based on the assignment(s) students have completed. For a leader to "see" classes, students, or achievements, an assignment must first be shared with the leader, or the leader must get global school access with School Reporting Mode (mentioned above).   • Class Groups: Used to allow staff members access to classes and students not rostered in their Gradient account. This allows for the sharing of assignments, printing of forms, and scanning of classes not assigned to staff members. 
  • Teacher Groups: Used to streamline sharing of assignments.
