Custom Standards

Custom standards allow the school/district to create local standards to be aligned to questions for assignments. GradeCam provides standards for core subjects, common core and ACT. If a school/district would like to track local standards, custom standards can be imported by GradeCam (more than twenty custom standards for a school/district account) or manually added by an account admin. Contact GradeCam at support@gradecam.com for a template to submit for importing custom standards.

Note: School Reporting Mode is not available on free or paid single-teacher accounts. Please contact sales@gradecam.com to upgrade to a school or district license.

01. Add a New Custom Standard

1.1 Within Admin Mode, select the "More" tab from the Admin home page and then select "Custom Standards" from the list menu.

1.2 Select the "New" button.

1.3 Complete the required information.

Note: If the standard covers multiple grade levels use the Grade Low and Grade High options to indicate the lowest grade level to the highest grade level that is covered by the standard.

1.4 Select the "Save" button to create the new custom standard.

02. Edit a Custom Standard

Editing a custom standard does not update the custom standard that was previously aligned to any question in an assignment. Once edited and updated, the custom standard will be aligned to questions moving forward.

2.2 Select a standard by checking the box before the code.

2.3 Select the "Edit" button.

2.4 Update the information within the edit window.

2.5 Select the "Save" button to update the custom standard.

03. Delete a Custom Standard

Deleting a custom standard will remove the aligned standard from any questions the custom standard had previously been aligned to in an assignment.
