Adding a new class to your account

In this lesson we'll create a new class in just a few short steps.

Navigate to Setup>Classes

Select Setup (1). By default GradeCam opens your Classes(2). The main content frame (3) will be showing the Class Manager.

Add your class

Select the Add Class button (1). Add a class name (2). Optionally, you can add a class description (3).

Add students

Your class has now been created and GradeCam immediatly takes you into the student manager for that class. You have 2 options for adding students to your class.

  1. The Add button (1) allows you to add students manually one at a time. Click here for more info.
  2. The Import Students button (2) allows you to import a CSV file with your entire class list. Each gradebook is different but most allow you to export a .CSV file. Your CSV should contain the student name, ID number and optionally a GradeCam ID. Click here for instructions on importing.
